2. What we process and why

• identification and contact details to receive and fulfil your order,
• billing and collection details for payment, handover and accounting,
• order details and communications to fulfil the contract and handle complaints,
• technical and security records to protect the shop from misuse.

We rely on steps taken before entering into a contract, performance of the contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in security and protecting our rights. We do not make placing an order conditional on marketing consent.

3. Recipients and international transfers

We share data only where necessary with hosting and IT providers, accountants, banks or payment services, and public authorities where required by law. For an online payment, Besteron, a. s. receives the order number, amount, email address, phone number and the data needed to process and verify the payment. You enter card or bank details only on Besteron’s secure page; Berta Bier cannot access them. Where a supplier is outside the EEA, we use appropriate safeguards under the GDPR. We do not sell personal data.

4. How long we keep data

We keep order data while fulfilling the contract and afterwards for as long as needed to bring or defend legal claims. We keep accounting and tax records for the periods required by law. Security records are kept only for as long as necessary.

5. Your rights

Where the legal conditions are met, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time for the future. We do not use automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.
